So, we understand that when considering getting your hands on one of your own, a major question on your mind may be, “how long does it take to get one?”. They say the best things in life are worth waiting for… but we wouldn’t want to wait either.

At Trucks’N’Toys, our aim is to take the stress (and as much of the wait as possible) out of the process of getting your RAM truck from its factory in North America and onto your driveway.

Step 1: Delivery to Australia

Originally, it took up to 6 months for a RAM truck to reach Australia once an order was placed due to each purchase resulting in a new factory order. Realising this is too long a wait for our valued customers, we sought to speed up the process and reduce the delivery time by at least 50%.

Our new process involves placing orders on RAM trucks that are currently in stock. This eliminates the factory build time and gets the vehicles on Australian soil in as little as one or two months.

Step 2: Right-hand-drive conversion

Once the truck has touched down, it’s time to get it converted to right-hand-drive for compliance with local Australian Design Rules. The detailed, full RHD conversion, covered in the initial purchase price, takes place in a purpose-built facility with thorough quality and control processes.

Converting a RAM truck from left-hand drive to right-hand-drive takes approximately four weeks. Our conversions are completed at the highest of standards, ensuring your RAM truck looks, feels and drives the way a RAM truck should.

So, how long does it take to get a RAM Truck in Australia?

All in all, you can expect to wait roughly 8 to 12 weeks from purchasing your RAM truck to driving it home.

This time frame excludes any additional customisations you may have opted for. While we do our best to ensure wait times are minimised, it’s important to note that they may vary due to factors out of our control.
